What Do You Stand For?

A Strength-Based Equine Workshop for Children & Teens (Ages 11–15)

Give your child the opportunity to build connections, increase self-awareness, and grow resiliency in a safe and nurturing environment. This unique workshop is specifically designed to help teens navigate the world through the lens of their personal values. By combining animal-assisted learning with education on "brain basics," participants will develop practical self-regulation skills and enhance their positive self-expression—all alongside our supportive equine partners.

No prior horse experience is necessary. This is a space for kids to be themselves, learn from the wisdom of horses, and discover their own inner strength.

Workshop Highlights

  • Animal-Assisted Learning: Hands-on interactions with horses to foster empathy and leadership.

  • Self-Regulation & Brain Basics: Understanding how the brain works to better manage emotions and stress.

  • Personal Values: Activities designed to help teens identify what they stand for and how to navigate social challenges.

  • Resiliency Building: Developing the "bounce-back" factor in a supportive, strength-based group setting.

  • Positive Self-Expression: Encouraging authentic communication and confidence.
